We currently have an opportunity for an Outreach Coordinator Representative at our Corporate location.
Job Description
The Community Outreach Coordinator represents VivaMas in the community and is
responsible for achieving goals and improving VivaMas’ enrollment growth objectives.
This position works closely with the member engagement and marketing department to
plan, implement, and connect with the community and regions surrounding our medical centers.
Job Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with community members and organizations to promote collaboration and resource sharing.
- Oversee the development and implementation of outreach strategies that effectively connect the community with our medical services.
- Act as the primary point of contact for individuals seeking information about services, ensuring their needs are met and fostering ongoing engagement.
- Implement and coordinate outreach strategies within the community to enhance awareness and accessibility of healthcare services.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to assist in the promotion of programs and events, ensuring alignment with outreach goals.
- Represent VivaMas at community events and meetings, acting as a liaison to advocate for community health needs.
- Maintain a comprehensive calendar of outreach activities and community events to track engagement and opportunities.
- Plan and organize internal tours for community members and organizations to familiarize them with our services and facilities.
- Invites prospects to local community events as requested.
- Grows and nurtures potential members toward becoming new patients to meet the company’s growth target.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Successful experience in a service industry is strongly preferred.
- Successful customer care sales experience is preferred.
- Experience with Community Relations.
- Experience working with seniors or Medicare eligible individuals.
Knowledge, Skills & Proficiencies
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicare Advantage programs preferred.
- Proficiency with computer and web-based applications.
- Fluent written and oral English knowledge; bilingual is a plus.
- Strong verbal communication skills including active listening.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (i.e. Word, Excel PowerPoint).
Physical Requirements/Working Environment
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Moderate computer use is required.
- Ability to travel locally up to 75% of the time within assigned area.
- Fast-paced office environment with frequent patient interaction
