Job Purpose:
Under the direction of the Wide Format Manager, the Small Machine Operator performs a wide range of finishing activities, ensuring the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost, meeting customer specifications and delivery requirements, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Hours:
Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm.
Primary Roles & Responsibilities:
- Check with supervisor to obtain work assignment.
- Pull all required materials to work on.
- Perform assigned activity to produce a completed product.
- Additional skills that may be utilized are drilling, grommeting, shrink wrapping, taping, marrying, collating, inserting, gluing, according to departmental procedures.
- Ensure accuracy of work being performed to produce the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost. Ensure production of the correct quantity.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
- Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.

Working Environment:
- Environment is a printing and manufacturing environment.
- Requires frequent bending, standing and walking throughout shift.
- Requires manual dexterity and hand - eye coordination.

Key Performance Indicators:
- Team members will be evaluated on production output of "estimate" versus "actual" time for operation.
- Each department has chargeable hour goals. Team members will be expected to maximize their production efficiency and will be evaluated on their chargeable hours' percentage.
- Team member will be measured on their operation net speed, make ready time and down-time percentage. These numbers are tracked on the Kensington Report.
- Team members will be expected to maintain and/or improve the cleanliness and organizational readiness of their workstation and machine.
Salary : $21
