Director, ERP Platform

Job Description Director, ERP Platform (Vivint, Inc., Lehi, UT) Responsible for the management and oversight of the technology delivery teams which support the Finance and Supply Chain business units. Provide application and business subject matter expertise for Finance and Supply Chain technology related projects and the ongoing technical support of existing applications. Responsible for managing comprehensive project plans to track deliverables on time and within budget. Responsible for the strategic portfolio planning for all phases of the project including support as well as the overall project execution including design, development, and testing strategy. Utilizes company/industry project management methodologies and tools throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) or Accelerated SAP (ASAP). Leverages formal change management processes to manage changes to scope, cost, schedule and to ensure alignment in expectations. Tracks and drives resolution on open questions, issues and risks as well as assist the project leads in developing risk mitigation plans. Works with the project leads to create detailed project schedules and work plans to ensure all required project deliverables are tracked with dependencies and resource assignments clearly identified. Tracks and drives testing and training. Coordination with Business Leads, System Integrators, Hosting partners, Software Vendors and other 3rd Party Vendors. Accountable for continuous monitoring of project health and adjusting resource allocations and task plans to ensure deliverables are progressing to completion. Builds a positive, collaborative working environment that instills respect, trust, quality and success as its core goals. Raises risks and issues to leadership on a timely basis and work with appropriate parties to create action plans. Provides thought leadership to projects and employees. Manage, coach, and mentor technology team members to provide leadership direction and guidance in the execution of assigned tasks and personal/professional career development. Telecommuting may be permitted. When not telecommuting, must report to Vivint, Inc., 3401 Ashton Blvd, Lehi, UT 84043. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field plus 5 years of professional experience managing ERP implementations in an SAP environment and developing ERP solutions in procurement, inventory management, warehouse management and quality management. Must also have the following: 5 years of professional experience developing interfaces between ERP to non-ERP applications to enable EDI; 5 years of professional experience managing IT projects; 5 years of professional experience designing data migration strategies by leveraging data transfer tools (including LSMW, BDC, SCATT, or ECATT) to transfer data from legacy applications to SAP; and 5 years of professional experience in designing planning solutions to ensure availability of materials for consumption and customer delivery.
