Description
Summary: Take orders for food and beverages from customers and prepare according to the order using proper safety precautions and sanitary measures.
Primary duties:
- Greet every guest with an enthusiastic welcome as they enter the café
- Take orders from customers at counter.
- Prepare order and check that it is accurate before serving to a customer.
- Operate the equipment required for preparing food and ensure that is working properly.
- Maintain food safety and standards in food preparation and personal hygiene.
- Enter customer orders and compute bill using cash registers.
- Accept payment from customers, and make change as necessary.
- Keep items needed at drink-dispensing and condiment area filled.
- Clean and organize dining and kitchen areas.
- Notify management of food or beverage shortages.
- Follow all Company policy and procedures.
- Regular and timely attendance.
Secondary Duties:
- Assist other staff.
- Other duties as required or assigned.

Education:
High School Education or GED preferred.
Experience:
Prior restaurant or customer service experience preferred. Must be professional, polite, and reliable.
