About the Mission You Will Join:
Support task management via Task Management Tool (TMT) for a directorate within the Department of the Air Force, Chief Information Officer. VMD manages tasks from/to DoD, all military branches, federal/state agencies and civilian corporations. You will join a fast-paced position with daily opportunities to manage tasks that support the warfighter across the DoD.
Y*o*ur Impact to the Mission:
The Task Management Lead role will act as a single point of contact to provide direct support to the Director in facilitating the daily flow of communications across the SAF/CIO organization and serve as the directorate's focal point for executive-level communications. This person will
act as lead support for directorate task management activities using Task Management Tool (TMT).

This person will perform duties to include, but are not limited to, monitoring of workflows, maintenance of directorate file plan and electronic records management, and ensuring that all tasks are managed and tracked in such a manner to ensure directorate mission accomplishment.
E*xperience Needed to Be *Successful: .

  • Experience working in DOD in a similar capacity, preferably with

the USAF at the Pentagon

  • Experience with Task Management Tool (TMT) within the Department of the Air Force
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Action and results oriented
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and commitment to the mission
  • Deal effectively, comfortably, and confidently with people at all

levels of responsibility, authority and rank

  • Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure

  • Can Additional Years of Experience Substitute for Degree? Yes

  • Minimum Years of Overall Experience: 7
