Overview

Builds and maintains relationships with community-based organizations, local leaders and other external entities to assist VNS Health in meeting its mission and strategic objectives. Works with Health Plan leadership in developing new and strengthening existing relationships with key organizations, community leaders, centers of influence (e.g., Providers, IPA's, and LHSCAs), and other agencies that serve VNS Health Plans member and member prospect populations. Works under general direction.


Compensation:

$93,400.00 - $116,800.00 Annual

What You Will Do

  • Develops community outreach marketing plans for VNS Health products and services across all regions for all referral sources. Conducts periodic reassessments with internal stakeholders to update marketing plans, review referral sources, evaluate efficacy of event participation, and identify other relevant information needed to assess strategies, success, and areas for improvement.
  • Identifies key organizations, leaders and agencies of constituents appropriate for VNS Health programs and services. Meets with organization leaders to educate about programs and identify opportunities for referrals to VNS Health programs and services. Maintains relationships through regular contacts and engages in collaborative activities. Maintains list of community organizations and contacts.
  • Identifies community events and other opportunities for referrals to VNS Health. Assesses opportunity potential and coordinates VNS Health resources for appropriate event coverage. Analyzes feedback from events to determine value and future participation.
  • Collaborates with key organizations and alliances to promote VNS Health in targeted populations and areas. Represents VNS Health at various key high-level forums pertaining to community health care or the aged.
  • Develops cost-effective marketing strategies to help promote health education and brand recognition through in person and virtual channels. Collaborates and coordinates with VNS Health resources as necessary.
  • Oversees fleet operations and management.
  • Collaborates with other VNS Health leadership to determine community market opportunities for VNS Health.
  • Participates in forecasting referral targets and develops/manages VNS Health community outreach budget for organizational events and promotional items.
  • Performs all duties inherent in a senior managerial role. Approves staff training, hirings, promotions, terminations and salary actions, assists in preparation and ensures adherence to the department budget.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Liberal Arts, or the equivalent work experience Required and Master's Degree Preferred

Work Experience:
Minimum seven years of experience in marketing, community relations, public relations or business development Required and Prior management experience Required and Previous experience with community health, or aging organizations or local political offices Required and Prior experience in managed care and/or health care industry Preferred
