Medical Assistant Assignment Details
- 13 week contract, onsite
- Schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm or 8am-5pm
- Compensation: $35/hr
- Location: Milwaukee, WI
Medical Assistant Job Description:
- This individual is responsible for pre-visit planning standard rooming responsibilities assisting with procedures discharge instructions and other duties as assigned.
- The medical assistant is instrumental in helping the patient feel at ease while collaborating with the provider throughout the patients visit.
- Other duties as assigned.
Medical Assistant Qualifications
- One to two years of clinical experience is preferred.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) is required within 90 days of hire.
- CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant Program (Associate Diploma or Certificate).
- Certification through the AAMA and/or an equal certification board or certification is preferred.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Shift: Monday - Friday
- 8am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5pm
