Volante Farms in Needham, MA is a place for all seasons. As a fourth-generation family run farm, farm stand, and garden center Volante Farms has over one hundred years in the community. In 2012, the farm stand was remodeled adding two kitchens, a deli, bakery, and an ice cream stand/coffee bar.


We are looking for an experienced Greenhouse Associate/Grower to join our growing team! Our greenhouse selection includes indoor plants, annuals, perennials, shrubs, pottery, and all things to care for them.


Our Greenhouse Associate/Grower will be responsible for:

-Planting annuals and vegetables in our greenhouses

-Daily plant care, including watering

-Customer service/using the cash register

-Teaching customers how to care for their plants


Retail greenhouse growing experience is required.


WORK ENVIRONMENT

The Greenhouse Associate/Grower position operates in an active retail store environment. This job may be either indoors or outdoors or both. This is a year round position, in which plant care is balanced with customer service.


The Greenhouse Associate/Grower will be offered benefits, if full time, including 401K, profit sharing, competitive wages, paid time off, and employee discounts.

16 years old

Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
