Construction Manager II (Bridge & Highway Interchange Projects)

We are currently searching for an experienced Transportation Construction Manager II **to support our CEI and Construction Management operations in Pennsylvania. The position is located in Susquehanna, PA area.
What you’ll be doing:

• Responsible for overall construction project performance including financial success, schedule, subcontract management, and client relations.

• Determine contract requirements and construction management / inspection staffing needs, project and staff supervision, while providing technical guidance and mentoring to staff to deliver quality projects.

• Manage cost control systems, review and analyze plans, facilitate the bidding/negotiations/buyout process with a general contractor, review all forms (bidding, construction, or other) of requests for information (RFI’s), examine and negotiate change orders, and review and comment on submittals.
• Oversee day to day oversight of construction activities, progress estimates and payments, and project closeout
• Maintaining relationships in the construction community to provide market intelligence as well as ensure consideration for future business development opportunities.

What you need to have:

• Civil Engineering degree or equivalent
• 5 - 10 years of experience in Construction Management/Construction Engineering for heavy civil and transportation construction
• Experience in Bridge and Highway Interchange construction projects
• Demonstrated experience in QA/QC development and project implementation.
• CMIT or CCM is a plus but not required
• Must have a valid driver’s license
