Join our dynamic team as a CNC Machine Repair Technician in Simi Valley, CA . You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on all plant machinery, equipment, and instrumentation.
This role involves working on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and fluid handling systems to ensure plant operations run at optimal efficiency.
Location : Simi Valley, CA
Shift : 2nd shift (3 : 30 PM - 12 Midnight)
Salary Range : $25 - $35 / Hr. *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
What You'll Do as a CNC Machine Repair Technician :
- Troubleshoot & Repair : Perform troubleshooting, repair work, and preventative maintenance on all plant machinery and equipment.
- Documentation : Document project activities and prepare operating standards and maintenance procedures.
- Maintenance : Complete the documentation process for machinery usage and equipment maintenance. Maintain the cleanliness of the maintenance shop.
What We're Looking For :
- Experience : 3 years of preventative maintenance experience.
- Technical Skills :
- Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, including PLCs.
- Experience with interface tools for Allen Bradley or GE Fanuc PLCs.
- Ability to use precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Project Management : Ability to coordinate multiple jobs and handle detailed and broad-range projects while meeting deadlines.
- Physical Requirements : Ability to stand for extended periods, stoop, bend, climb ladders / stairs, work on roofs, and occasionally lift / move up to 50 lbs.
- Technical Proficiency : Remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, and tools; adjust functional parts using hand tools;
fabricate repair parts using machine shop equipment.
Education : High School Diploma / GED required; Trade certification preferred.
