Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Production Operator
Position type : Full Time / Contract
Location : 523 W Wall Street Darien WI 53114
Duration : 06 Months (Temp to Perm)
Schedule : 1st shift - Monday Friday Normal shift 7am-3pm; Overtime 5am-3p or 5a-5p
As a Production Operator you will :
Requirement :
- As a Production Operator in the sheeting cell, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them.
- This position rotates between operating the sheeter, guillotine machine and jogger.
- Sheeting operation includes obtaining base material (rolls) from the warehouse, set up the sheeting machine to specified sheet sizes according to work orders, and stage for the next step.
- Guillotine operation includes cutting sheets to a specific size and tolerance and completing quality checks.
- Jogging operation requires operator to safely lift stacks of sheets into the required lift height for the guillotine.
- Prepare materials and product for packaging and shipment to customers.
- Utilizes scanning for recording movement of incoming and outgoing materials (RF Scanning).
- Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.
- Teamwork and communication are essential part of the job.
- You will work in a production environment with the appropriate safety procedures in place.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
