Volt is immediately hiring Medical Collections Specialist / Medical Billing Specialist in Livermore, CA 94550
As a Medical Collections Specialist / Medical Billing Specialist, you will :
- Knowledge of Explanation of Benefits (EOB’s) and understanding of copays, coinsurance, deductibles and denial codes.
- Serve as the liaison between insurance companies, patients and the departments;
- Ensure claims are processed and followed up to meet company goals of account receivable days, aging account percentages and cash goals;
- Research and answer all questions and complaints, regarding patient responsibility balances and billing inquiries sent to them through the customer call center with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism.
- Attention to detail and have the ability to prioritize independently
- Proficient customer service skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office
Schedule : 7 : 30 AM 4 : 00 PM
This is a Full Time, Contract opportunity.
Pay Rate : $24 - $25 per hour.
