Volt is immediately hiring a Shop Helper for a local leading company in Bakersfield, CA
As a Shop Helper, you will :
- Assist Machinists in their daily tasks
- Prepare materials
- Set up machines
- Perform Cleaning tasks such as cleaning restrooms, sweeping floors, and disposing of waste
- Perform minor repairs around the shop
- Assist in construction-related tasks as needed
Shop Helper Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of machine shop operations.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
- Basic knowledge of tool usage and safety procedures.
- Must have clean driving record
This is a Full-time Temp to hire position the schedule is Monday - Friday 7 : 00 AM- 3 : 30 PM with the possibility of Overtime
Pay for this position is : $20.00 per hour
