Volt is immediately hiring for a Warehouse Associate in Cerritos, CA . $20 / hr.
As an Warehouse Associate you will :
- Manage material receiving using ERP system.
- Coordinate with inspection to ensure smooth process flow into QA.
- Print production shop packets (work orders, drawings, documentation) based on schedule.
- Conduct cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory records in ERP.
- Audit and correct inventory bin assignments.
- Ensure timely and accurate inventory storage.
- Pull materials as per production planning and transaction requests.
- Package and label materials for shipment.
- Maintain documentation for customer, invoicing, and ERP compliance.
- Keep work area neat and orderly daily.
- Transport in-process materials to / from suppliers as needed.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts for material transport.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
This is a full time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have :
- 5 years of ERP experience in manufacturing, focusing on shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
- Self-motivated with strong oral / written communication skills.
- Highly organized, able to multi-task, and make independent decisions.
- Capable of exercising good judgment and discretion.
- Valid Class C California driver's license.
- Valid forklift license.
- Experience with 5S or Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
Pay Rate : $20 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
