Maintenance Supervisor

**Pay is based on experience and certifications**

We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to add to our Hendersonville team. This position reports to the Regional and Property Manager to ensure an enjoyable, safe, and well-maintained living environment for our residents. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously, responsibly, and assume a positive leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Keep your team energized, motivated, and skilled
• Ensure the smooth running of upkeep and/or repair of operations
• Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
• Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work
• Recruit, supervise and train maintenance technicians
• Hire and supervise tradesmen during installations, repairs or maintenance (electricians, plumbers etc.)
• Inspect and maintain building systems (heating, ventilation etc.)
• Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance
• Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
• Participate in coordination of projects (e.g., renovations)
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations

Skills

• Proven experience as maintenance supervisor or similar role
• Knowledge and understanding of Fair Housing Laws
• Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, HVAC, etc.)
• Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations
• Understanding of budgeting and performance management
• Excellent planning and leadership abilities
• An eye for detail
• Ability to operate within our technology software systems including, but not limited to, property management software, along with timekeeping and expense reporting programs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High school diploma: Degree from a vocational school will be a plus
• Professional Certifications (e.g., HVAC certified) are required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
