The office has rooms for answering the phone and offering caring support, baby clothes, and maternity clothes. Birthright of Greater Hartford's trained volunteers staff the office at 914 Main Street, Suite 216, East Hartford an average of 35 hours per week and contribute an additional average of 20 hours per week from home.
Birthright's ongoing presence of trained volunteers are available to pregnant women who may be distressed by their situations. Volunteers provide free pregnancy tests and caring and practical support. Birthright offers community resource information, maternity and baby clothes, and referrals to professionals for medical, legal, financial aid, and counseling. Maternity and infant clothing collected at local churches and donated to Birthright are distributed to the mothers we work with.
