What are the responsibilities and job description for the Volunteer Administrator position at Volunteers In Medicine Clinic Hilton Head?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Volunteer Administrator provides support to the Director of Volunteers and the EMR Manager, in managing the Volunteers and Clinic operations.
· Responsible for generating appropriate lists, labels and other documents necessary for daily Clinic Operations.
· Responsible for maintaining appropriate data necessary for managing all Volunteers, including data entry in Volgistics and Donor Management System
· Responsible for copying and/or producing Volunteer Orientation materials
· Assist in the absence of the Director or Assistant Director of Volunteers, assuring Volunteer Areas in the Clinic are operating smoothly during Clinic hours
· Provide support to Director of Volunteers and Assistant Director of Volunteers, as needed.
· ‘Provide support to Director of Health Informatics, as needed.
· Responsible for Medical Record Requests and other administrative tasks related to Electronic Medical Records
Additional Duties
· Assist in overseeing and documenting volunteer hours
· Assure confidentiality of medical records.
· Assist on special events as requested.
Educational/Experience/Physical Job Requirements:
· Bachelor degree preferred.
· Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook and EMR)
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
· Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
· Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
· Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
·Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
· Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone
