YOUR NEW ROLE:
Volvo Group Trucks, Wacol has a unique opportunity for a Communications Internship in the Communications team. The primary purpose of this position is to work with and support the Employee Communications Manager in daily internal communication activities.

YOUR NEW ROLE:
Volvo Group Trucks, Wacol has a unique opportunity for a Communications Internship in the Communications team. The primary purpose of this position is to work with and support the Employee Communications Manager in daily internal communication activities.
Other duties include:
- Producing communication materials, including electronic newsletters, content for Digital channels, producing videos, social media content etc.
- Preparing and publishing internal communications messaging via the Volvo Group intranet and Yammer channels
- Assisting with gathering communications data and information to review and improve communications delivery
- Maintaining communications templates and tools
- Assisting with the co-ordination of internal events such as the employee recognition program, leadership forums and dialogue sessions
- Supporting with the Factory Tour program for customers, suppliers and industry groups, including guiding the tours to showcase our local manufacturing facility.
Education
- Completed or working towards Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or similar
- Studies in Business, Marketing and Communications
Your experience and Skills
- Basic computer skills
- Experience in writing
- Some work experience advantageous
- Eager to learn, take on new challenges and work well independently as well as in a team environment
- Knowledge of and preferably some experience in corporate communications
- Strong creativity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of various communication channels
- High attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks to deadlines
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Video editing skills
