Collections/Fraud Manager

Responsibilities

As a Collections and Fraud Manager, you direct the day-to-day activities required to prevent loss for the ecommerce business, achieve collection goals and manage delinquent accounts. You play an important role in elevating employee and customer engagement to retain customers.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Motivate employees to deliver outstanding customer service and retain customers – train, coach and lead by example
• Participate in the interview process and make employment decisions
• Execute all duties of a debt collections associate and fraud analyst
• Prepare and analyze uncollectable account information and financial reports
• Develop associate’s skills to meet department goals
• Assess associate performance to improve customer service
• Research website security issues and analyze potential fraudulent activity
• Develop and implement solutions to solve customer problems and department needs
• Manage relationships with third party vendors and analyze collection performance
• Be available to work a rotation of day, evening, and weekend shifts; on-site in Davenport, IA.

Our wide range of customer services include free delivery, complimentary gift wrapping, no questions asked customer return policy, alterations, and an interest free charge card.  Today, 37 Von Maur stores are scattered across 15 states:  Alabama, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma and Wisconsin; and we’re still expanding. Our corporate headquarters and E-commerce facility are located in Davenport, Iowa.
