Position Summary:
The Online Marketplace Strategic Analytics and Insights Consultant’s overall goal is to ensure clients receive value from eControl growth and performance analytics and resources. This position will clients’ sales control situation and their online marketplace performance, and extract strategic insights for both eControl account managers and clients in order to maximize sales and profit and optimize sales control budgets.
Essential Functions:
- Proactively analyze and assess eControl clients, proactively identify candidates for deeper review, analyze performance, and package data insights into compelling narratives that demonstrate thought-leadership to our clients and provides a line-of-sight into their largest opportunities for improvement.
- Support client facing resources with training, client counsel and other analytics and insights requests to support positive client outcomes.
- Assist with the onboarding and training of eControl clients working with eControl attorneys.
- Work collaboratively with the entire client service organization. Partner with the data science team to effectively solve customer's problems.
- Manage implementation of new processes, tools, and solutions with the client and as part of a large team environment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work with online marketplace/ecommerce data, identify/define opportunities for/inhibitors to sales and profitability growth by establishing facts, drawing conclusions and translating them into meaningful, valuable, actionable insights presented in a professional, easy to understand and compelling way
- Ability to leverage advanced analytical concepts to improve business outcomes
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VBA, macros, scripts, formulas, data visualization, etc.) and PowerPoint
- Strong listening, planning, analytical, project management, decision-making, written and verbal communication and consulting skills
- Detail and big picture oriented
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline or combination of equivalent education and experience required.
- Degree in Statistics, Finance, Business, Economics or related filed (or equivalent experience) preferred.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in similar field required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics or other data/reporting environments, especially supporting field functions and clients preferred.
