We are currently in need of a 3rd shift packaging line lead. The packaging line lead is responsible for overseeing all areas of the packaging process to ensure a high-quality run.Responsibilities include:Direct and train all production line personnelProper communication of supervisor expectations to line personnelEnsure proper reliability reportingIdentify product quality problems and initiate corrective actionCoordinate changeover process and verify all components staged on lineCoordinate components for lineMaintain cleaning supply inventory for designated area; Assist line crew with cleaningProvide assistance running through breaks and lunchesDestage line when changing overNotify supervisor of any problems that might or do result in "Hold" materialOther duties as assignedQualifications:High School Diploma or GED2-5 years relevant experience, manufacturing setting preferred.Ability to read, understand and maintain records as required.Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong Team PlayerAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Willing and able to teach, coach and develop others.
