Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Data Center Technician to join our team. As a Data Center Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our data center operations.
Duties:
- Perform equipment repair and maintenance within the data center
- Assist with network installation and troubleshooting
- Handle electrical components and ensure proper functioning
- Work with Ethernet, computer networking, and Avaya systems
- Conduct field service tasks as required
- Utilize hand tools to complete various technical tasks
- Interpret and follow schematics for equipment setup and repairs
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in equipment repair
- Familiarity with Juniper and Avaya systems
- Experience in network installation and maintenance
- Knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Understanding of Ethernet and computer networking principles
- Ability to work in a field service environment
- Proficient in using hand tools for technical tasks
- Capability to read and interpret schematics for equipment setup
