Overview
Assisting in the day-to-day management of Center of New Hampshire garage and other locations ensuring that parking operations are handled within contractual guidelines of the specific location, fostering good client relations and promoting a professional image and approach to the business.
Looking for an Assistant Manager to support daily operation, manage staff and ensures efficient parking service. Float between all parking operations in Manchester NH. Responsibility includes overseeing facility maintenance, cleanliness, safety and security of customers and their properties. Addressing customer’s inquiries, manage schedules, and collaborating with the parking garage manager for strategic planning.
This person will assist in all operations of parking garage locations this can include but is not limited to fixing parking gates and or pay machines when needing repair to stepping into other roles to ensure continuous operations.
The ideal candidate would have some Hospitality background, along with some PARC'S knowledge, although these are not a must have.
Schedule will have flexible hours week to week, depending business needs and events, with some possible on-call hours as needed.
Responsibilities
- Participate in programs to improve client and customer satisfaction.
- Engage in the development of property level financial and operational goals.
- Assist in the management of day-to-day activities and handle daily financial responsibilities such as tracking revenue, reconciling cash and cc transactions, preparing daily financial reports, monitoring expenses, and contributing to budget planning, ensuring appropriate customer interaction, supervising the completion of all daily closing reports, processing bank deposits.
- Courteously assist Customers by answering any questions they may have.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment and any general maintenance tasks as directed by the garage Manager.
- Report any known accidents, incidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager.
- Assist and supervise with walk and sweep, cleanup of debris, water, oil spills, etc. and documenting on VPNE TASK Sheet.
- Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage, thorough knowledge of the major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area of the garage.
- Assist Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
Qualifications

Education/Experience Required High School Graduate. A minimum of a year of parking experience preferred.
Availability to Work: Special shift requirements, if any, will vary depending on a location's hiring needs. If applicable, availability to work second shift, third shift and/or weekends may be required.
License Requirement: Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license with current address and acceptable driving record.
Oral Communication: Speaks clearly; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions.
Written Communication: Writes clearly and informatively; Able to read and interpret written information.
