Summary:
Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing Push Parts and Supply Chain Analysis support. Primary functions include:
Provide offsite support that will work remotely within all required Command systems. Remotely access required data, reports, and perform a variety of tasks and data analyses within Naval Electronics Supply Support System (NESSS), COGNOS, Coast Guard PART, Fleet Logistics System (FLS), and other Coast Guard supply and inventory management tools.
Contractor shall attend meetings, both onsite and via conference calls, to provide expertise in NESSS and Coast Guard logistics systems, expertise in supply chain and inventory management, project tracking and reporting, and support for business model integration for Logistics Center (LC) product lines.
Provide support for the deployment of “Push Parts” functionality and related parts allowancing processes for Coast Guard units such as Bases, Sectors, Cutters, and Deployable Special Forces (DSF) units. Includes support for LC Asset Logistics Division (ALD) and the Assistant Material Manager’s (AMM’s) in the form of process training and documenting processes in LC Directives. Support updates and maintenance of the LC Asset Integration Process Guide x and the LC Free Issue Push Parts Process Guide.
Coordinate with LC Product Line supply and engineering personnel, field unit supply personnel, and on occasion, other government agencies such as the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).
Provide indirect business transition support for the future and current replacement of legacy logistics, supply, and financial systems by new Coast Guard systems such as Coast Guard Logistics Information Management System (CG-LIMS) and the Financial Systems Modernization Solution (FSMS).
Experience:
· Must possess at least ten (10) years’ experience in Federal supply chain management and supply policies.
· Subject matter expert level Naval and Electronics Supply Support System (NESSS) experience highly desired.
Education/Certifications/Clearance:
· Bachelor’s Degree in a Logistics related field desired
Must possess or able to obtain Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD)-12
