Job Summary:
VSolvit is seeking an experienced, qualified candidate with an Active Top Secret Clearance for a Management Analyst
position that will support VSolvit's Electronic Warfare Program Manager under minimal supervision and take on
additional responsibilities as an Alternate Facility Security Officer (AFSO)
This Management Analyst ll position will require a series of analytical, administrative and/or management
responsibilities and perform a variety of customer support and administrative related tasks.
Additionally, this position will learn to take on responsibilities as an Alternate Facility Security Officer (AFSO),
responsible for overseeing security and facilities functions at our Ventura office location. In this role, you will work
closely with the Facilities Security Officer (FSO) and Facilities Manager to manage day-to-day operations, ensuring
compliance with government and corporate requirements for Department of Defense (DoD) programs and
personnel. The focus will be supporting the established security program, while also managing safeguarding at the
Ventura office to ensure corporate and government compliance and meet the needs of employees, visitors and
customers both onsite and remotely. Experience is preferred, but not required.
Management Analyst ll Responsibilities will include- Develop weekly briefs and weekly reports to meet Program Manager contractual requirements.
- Support execution and tracking Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M).
- Assist with development and tracking of planning schedules, actions briefing materials, reports.
- Prepare identification, development and collection and reporting of metrics and deliverables.
- Support development, review, and update of Technical Documentation as required.
- Support tracking and reporting of Strategic Planning documentation and schedules as required.
- Support development, planning and coordination, tracking of special projects or adhoc requirements as
- Monitor and evaluate vendor performance and compliance.
- Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and trends.
- Create and maintain procurement reports and dashboards.
- Provide procurement related activities to include obtaining appropriate approvals for request for materials,
- handling vendor relations and setup, processing purchase orders in company ERP system, and tracking orders to completion.
- Provide support for shipping and receiving of materials as needed with various vendors and shipping
- agencies.
- Assist contract staff with travel related processes and procedures to include obtaining appropriate
- approvals, making travel arrangements, processing expense documentation, and providing reporting and analytics.
- Requires strong ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with superior attention to detail.
AFSO Responsibilities will include:
- Provide on-site security oversight for safeguarding the Ventura facility.
- Assist in maintaining security clearances using DISS and NBIS for facility-level and below requirements,
- and process personnel security clearances to include visit requests.
- Assist in submitting Electronic Application (eApp) both digitally and in hard copy format.
- Assist in the development and execution of security training and briefings as directed by the FSO and
- maintain compliance records in line with DCSA requirements.
- Understand and support implementation of federal security regulations that apply to company operations,
- ensuring the safeguarding of classified and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
- Assist with the preparation and administration of documents required for personnel to obtain appropriate
- badging and access to government facilities and property, including VAL, Courier Cards, and SAAR forms.
- Collaborates with government customers on security related issues as directed by FSO or Senior
- Management.
Basic Qualifications:
- United States Citizenship required.
- Active DoD TOP SECRET Security Clearance required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2yrs experience with procurement, government travel regulations, travel coordination, and
- government contract administrative procedures and terminology.
- Excellent analytical skills, business acumen, time-management, and effective communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of technical experience in support of Department of Defense (DoD) efforts to include:
- Programmatic Support, Equipment Support, and System Support.
- 3-5 years of project analyst or management experience, to include: Technology Assessments, Systems
- Analysis, Programmatic Support, Acquisition and Procurement Planning, Budget Planning, and Government
- Travel Coordination and Regulations.
- Project or Program Management Professional Certification or Certified DAWIA Level 2 or 3 in Program
- Management.
- DoD security experience
