About Diamond Vision Clinic
Diamond Vision Clinic has offered comprehensive eye care and optical services to the Anchorage communities for over 30 years. The practice is a well-respected business in the community and specializes in ocular disease, treatment, and management; dry eye diagnosis and treatment including Intense Pulsed Light and Lipiflow; and early detection and treatment of age-related macular degeneration. To support Diamond Vision Clinic's large patient base and remain competitive in the industry, the practice is currently expanding its specialty offerings in areas of ocular health, specialty contact lenses, and more to come. Centrally located across from Diamond Center Shopping Mall, this prime location is at the corner of the two busiest streets in Anchorage and is easily accessible from major highways. To meet the increasing demand for eye care services, Diamond Vision Clinic is looking to add an Optometrist to join the highly-trained team of 18 employees.
Diamond Vision Clinic has a large referral base and is known for offering patients a curated, ultimate eye care experience from the first point of contact and through every stage of the patient journey. The practice is fully equipped with comprehensive state-of-the-art optometric technology and stays at the forefront of integrating the industry's newest technology. The team of professionals utilizes: OCT, OPTOS, LipiScan, Oculus Keratograph, Visual Fields, AdaptDX, LipiFlow, IPL, Color Konan, Diopsys ERG testing equipment, Corneal Endothelial Specular Microscopy, and Fundus Photos.
Patients will enjoy an upscale, family-friendly shopping experience at the full-service optical boutique, staffed with five full-time Opticians. The boutique offers a large selection of designer eyewear for all budgets—plus, the Opticians work closely with the patients to select proper frames for cosmetic, lifestyle, and vision needs.
About the Full-Time Optometrist Position
Diamond Vision Clinic has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Optometrist passionate about providing personalized and individualized care to ensure excellent eye health. You'll perform general optometric duties, routine vision care, contact lens fittings, and educate patients on the newest lens technology and products. You'll also receive additional training on new and innovative optometric equipment. The full-time position schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and occasionally covers Saturdays—approximately 30 patients are cared for daily. Additional hours may be required depending on patient care, emergencies, continuing education, and training.

As the newest member of the team, the Optometrist will work alongside a talented team to ensure successful onboarding and professional development.
A successful candidate will have the ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills and efficiently evaluate complex patient issues while showing empathy in a professional capacity. Additionally, the candidate must have a team-oriented mindset and respectfully communicates with staff. The ideal candidate will want to develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctors and integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.
