What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Implementation Specialist position at VSP Vision?
Primary liaison with Ventures' practices for software systems support structure, processes, and needs
Consult with practices to identify system needs and PMS best practices - Analyze exceptions and modify or integrate as needed
Work with practices to implement system design and configuration preferences, including lens and frame inventory, scheduling, etc.
Manage practices' expectations regarding application features, processes, and functionality
Investigate, track, and resolve practice issues during implementation and ongoing
Manage and resolve practice issues through implementation and ongoing
Deliver documentation, processes, and tools to ease implementation
Complete thorough and accurate documentation of onsite consultations
Develop criteria for evaluating the success of practice implementations; and execute implementation program improvements as needed
Must have a thorough working knowledge of Practice Management software solutions and services, with the goal of implementing efficient and cost-effective optometric practices
Must have a thorough working knowledge of medical and routine doctor practices and processes to provide business consultative solutions
Gather and report identified software issues and practice feedback related to software solutions
Execute milestones and tasks in collaboration with Eyefinity related to training, system setup, equipment integration, conversion, and Go Live.
Work with internal business partners to deliver successful software implementations
Serve as lead and mentor to other Ventures' operations, implementation, and field management employees
Provide post-installation feedback to the team to ensure quality services, improve efficiencies, and to ease future implementations
Coordinate testing and transfer of knowledge of new version upgrades with internal business partners
Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
4 years of experience implementing software and training for end users
Strong interpersonal skills and a high standard for communication
Ability to be a team player, and work effectively and prioritize business objectives
Demonstrated experience implementing software solutions in a medical practice
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated leadership skills
Project management background is a plus
Proven ability to motivate and work within a team environment
Multi-tasking across several projects
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to establish rapport, trust, confidence, and credibility with business owners and staff
Demonstrated competency in communication, training, presentation, research investigation, analysis, negotiation, organizational and administration
Demonstrated success working directly with customers to implement new products, achieving high customer satisfaction and efficient delivery of the software
Demonstrated ability to work with and teach varying degrees of abilities and experience levels using technology, software tools, and hands-on training methods to address adult learning styles
Knowledge of computer-based training software, word processing, and presentation tools
Knowledge of web-based training and tracking tools
Ability to deliver effective, clear, and professional presentations, both virtually and in person
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
Valid driver's license
Ability to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties
