Job Title: Corporate Learning & Onboarding Specialist
Duration: 3 Months with high possibility of extension
Description:
The primary purpose of the job is to:
· Corporate Learning and Onboarding Specialist (LOS) applies subject matter knowledge to address and resolve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends resolutions.
· The LOS works on a diverse number of projects and facilitates a wide-scope of topics with varying complexity.
· The LOS functions as a primary “feet-on-the-ground” role at all new business locations and acts independently with a flexible and nimble viewpoint to changing strategies in a go-live environment.
· Acting independently and with a team the LOS is responsible for leading the design, development, implementation (virtual webinar, videoconference, and live classroom onsite) and evaluation of all customized Onboarding programs (technical and functional skills) and ensures proper controls and governance is followed at every location to meet organizational compliance and mandatory learning outcomes.
· The LOS facilitates technical and non-technical learning programs aligned to Everyone Leads to drive associate development across the enterprise that support desired Annual Operating Business Goals outcomes.
· The LOS evaluates program effectiveness and collaborates with stakeholders to define potential solutions and close gaps.
· The LOS partners with other internal learning and talent management professionals including the Learning and Onboarding Consultant(s), Talent Management Consultants, and the Instructional Design team and HR COE to ensure HR LT&OD strategies are executed and exceed expectations.
· Manages all aspects of enterprise onboarding programs for newly hired associates; including New Associate Orientation (NAO), Teleworker Onboarding, and New People Leaders (Supervisor - VP level).
· Defines, develops, manages and facilitates the employment verification processes (I-9 and E-Verify) for all new hires to comply with Homeland Security and maintains service excellence and the associate’s experience throughout the process.
· Stays abreast and reviews Homeland Security changes and makes recommendations to ensure ACFC remains in compliance with Federal and State employment verification laws.
· Designs, develops, manages and facilitates training on the Taleo Onboarding system for administrators at all sites.
· Maintains and updates all onboarding material and ensures all sites administrators have the appropriate materials to support the onboarding process.
· Acts as the liaison for new hires to answer questions and ensure an impactful new hire experience.
· Communicates with all stakeholders and educates them on their roles and responsibilities to ensure a successful new hire onboarding.
· Facilitates Everyone Leads training programs for front-line associates, supervisors/managers and individual contributors across the enterprise onsite and virtually.
· Collaborates with the Learning Consultants to design and develop departmental onboarding and enterprise learning programs for non-people managers. * Functions as the onboarding administrator in the learning management systems and maintains all assigned programs to meet LMS governance standards.
· Tracks, manages, and analyses trends within new hire onboarding programs and associate experience.
· Creates trend reports using learning management system data and provides solutions to address gaps and creates solutions.
· Identifies potential onboarding issues or concerns with clients; provides clarification, and facilitates problem resolution.
· Researches best practices and reports onboarding trend changes.
· Notifies management and/or departments regarding onboarding compliance issues; collaborates and advises and escalates issues and concerns, as appropriate to ensure audit requirements are met.
· Executes post training follow-up 30/60/90 days and validates the completion of mandatory courses/programs.
Skills:
· 3-5 years’ experience facilitating learning programs in classroom, webinar and blended learning environments, required.
· Exceptional problem solving skills to connect people and processes, required.
· 3-5 or more years’ experience managing and executing onboarding programs, required Working knowledge of adult learning theories and experience with adult learners (front-line, managers, individual contributors) with a variety of experience and expertise, required.
· Exceptional oral and presentation skills, required.
· Excellent written communication skills, required.
· Proven ability to establish credibility and maintain highly effective relationships with learners and clients, required.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines, required.
· Strong problem solving skills and ability to think out of the box to resolve issues independently, required.
