As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will make a positive impact by being responsible for:
Define audits and surveys to ensure that all suppliers are meeting our business requirements, including flow down and quality standards
Managing Supplier Performance and Development
Executing supplier audit activities related to both validation and on-going management of quality execution capabilities.
Monitoring, reporting and supporting supplier quality metrics and performance.
Supporting supplier corrective action and continuous improvement activities.
Supporting sites on incoming inspection and problem part resolution through all phases of operations.
Facilitating reporting and notifying suppliers of cost-recovery requirements resulting from the need to contain, segregate or handle non-conforming parts.
Supporting alternative supplier selection. Participates in customer-facing supplier quality activities.
Providing engineering support for all applicable areas of Quality Assurance.
Being the primary contact between Vusion Group and suppliers.
Implementing supplier corrective action & periodic supplier feedback.
Implementating and maintaining suppliers' rating system.
Conducting and evaluating supplier qualification/disqualification/audits.
