Key Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships: Oversee the onboarding and performance of third-party clients. Consistently develop and maintain strong relationships with our third-party clients. Comfortable interacting and presenting information to our clients.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all collection practices and adhere to legal and regulatory requirements. Monitor third-party compliance with contractual obligations and industry standards.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement effective collection strategies. Analyze collection data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate the performance of third-party collections. Review reports, assess collection metrics, and provide feedback to ensure targets are met.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or disputes related to third-party collections. Act as a liaison between the company and clients to ensure smooth operations.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on collection activities, performance, and trends to senior management. Provide recommendations for improving collection processes.
- Training and Support: Provide guidance and support to internal teams regarding third-party collections. Conduct training sessions as needed to enhance understanding and compliance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., Credit and Collection Professional) are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in collections management, with at least 5 years in a managerial role. Experience working with third-party collections is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of collection processes, legal requirements, and industry best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and collection management software.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working under pressure. Ability to lead and motivate a team.
