GENERAL SUMMARY:
The EDI Analyst is responsible for managing and maintaining the electronic exchange of information between our company and its business partners. Identify and resolve any issues that may arise.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain the most complex EDI maps, including translation rules and processes, to facilitate the exchange of electronic data between our company and external trading partners.
- Collaborate with various internal teams and external partners to gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring compliance with EDI protocols and standards.
- Monitor and troubleshoot EDI transactions, identifying and resolving any errors or discrepancies in a timely manner to ensure a smooth flow of information.
- Create and maintain documentation related to EDI processes and procedures, including mapping specifications, data interchange agreements, and trading partner profiles.
- Coordinate with external trading partners to onboard new partners, manage EDI testing, and resolve any issues related to data exchange.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in EDI protocols and standards, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist in managing EDI projects, including system upgrades, implementations, and enhancements, ensuring successful completion within agreed timelines.
- Participating on pre-sales and implementation project calls with customers to determine customer requirements..
- Provide the highest level of service through communication, which will include discussion of customer information, connectivity parameters, and validation of data.
- Provide escalated support for the Operations team, acting as product expert in regard to EDI products.
- Extract data using MY SQL or related SQL editor.
- Provide Credibility, Communication and Leadership qualities to their highest to ensure customer confidence in Vyne Dental’s delivery abilities

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- High School Degree, Bachelor's degree in applicable technology field preferred, or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working as an EDI Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of EDI protocols, standards, and processes, as well as exceptional problem-solving skills
- In-depth knowledge of EDI protocols, standards, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL query language.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry-specific EDI.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to handle large volumes of data and ensure data integrity.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while meeting tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Healthcare knowledge and terminology
- Experience working with Web Service APIs (SOAP, REST with JSON, etc)
- Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
