Overview
The Property & Casualty- Insurance Specialist provides direct support to the Sr. Director of Risk Management related to the management and administration of WB Mason’s Total Cost of Risk.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Claims Management and Administration:
- Auto Liability, Auto Physical Damage, General Liability and Workers’ Compensation claim administration, reporting, trending and analysis
- Establish monthly/quarterly loss reporting of claims; identify issues and trends
- Investigate, process and track property damage claims handled outside of insurance program
- Liaison with Fleet Management Department to ensure claims are reported and property damage claims are processed timely
- Monitor and flag key risk indicators and implement corrective actions to mitigate/alleviate property/casualty claims
- Attend quarterly Auto Liability, General Liability and Workers’ Compensation claim reviews
Insurance Renewal:
- Maintain and update WB Mason’s Schedule of Property values
- Responsible for gathering insurance renewal documentation from internal stakeholders to prepare for submission to insurance broker
- Prior experience with high deductible, loss sensitive Property/Casualty programs
Certificates of Insurance and other duties:
- Process Certificates of Insurance (COI) requests in accordance with specific insurance requirements as provided by customers/vendors
- Administer Ohio & Washington Workers’ Compensation state filings, quarterly reporting and payment of premiums
- Vendor management/vendor credentialing
- Maintain insurance payment schedule, premium invoice reconciliation and process risk management-related invoices
- Review contractual insurance provisions to ensure compliance with customer insurance requirements and flag non-standard language to internal stakeholders

- Enjoys working in a fast paced, high-volume environment with a keen ability to multitask
- Analytics/data driven
- Commercial Property/Casualty experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
- Detail oriented, organized, self-motivated
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- BS/BA Degree
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience prior risk management, insurance and/or claim experience
- Strong analytical skills
