W International is a world class metal fabricator located in Goose Creek, SC, specializing in complex critical weldments for the defense, aerospace and commercial markets. W International’s unique facility encompasses 45 acres and over 450,000 square feet of manufacturing space on the Cooper River. W International works on some of the leading projects in the industry and can ship via barge, rail, or articulated vehicle. We are certified to AS9100 Rev. Successful candidate will oversee the design, layout, testing and evaluation of mechanical and electro-mechanical devices or systems.

Requirements of the Position:
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have High School Diploma or GED
Responsibilities of the Position:
- Provide leadership and direction to the Accounting Department. Ensure that the accounting team is meeting all billing, payable, receivable and reporting requirements in the most efficient and cost effective manner.
- Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounts receivable and payable functions.
- Manage general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and month end process
- Manage fixed assets and capex process
- Assist CFO with various financial reporting to operations
- Take lead in financial systems and processes to include ERP system
- Develop and maintain procedures for all accounting functions.
- Act as liaison between company and CPA/Audit staff during annual financial audit.
- Provide timely performance evaluations of accounting staff.
- Foster a positive work environment, mentor staff and promote a professional team oriented and motivated work environment.
- Build partnership with each department to support in needed areas of controlling cost, reducing cost and budgets.
Specific Experiences seeking:
- Job based project accounting experience with comprehension in
- A to Z transactional job-based accounting
- A to Z transactional manufacturing accounting
- WIP schedule and analysis
- Costs in excess of billing (unbilled) and billing in excess of cost (deferred)
- “As sold”, “ETC”, “EAC” terminology.
- Revenue recognition
- Project costs to included labor, material, outside services, and odc
- Profitability analysis
- General Accounting supervision and on hand experience to include:
- Accounts Payable process to include three-way match controls
- Accounts Receivable process to include understanding contracts & billings.
- General Ledger account reconciliations
- General and adjusting journal entry process.
- Monthly end close process
- Fixed Asset / CAPEX knowledge
- Reporting
- Financial Statement preparation and interpretation
- ERP knowledge to include implementation.
- EPICOR software experience is a huge plus.
- Comprehension of the systematic transactional activity flow for manhours, labor costs, material, and all costs associated with a project.
