Learn more at gore.com/products/industries About the Role: We are looking for a Secondary Market Research Specialist to join our Customer Insights and Marketing Analytics (CIMA) team within our Medical Products Division (MPD). In this role, you work to develop a thorough understanding of the business objectives articulated by MPD business teams, and purposefully act on the knowledge gained to directly translate the underlying questions into actionable insights from meaningful analysis involving secondary market research. In addition, this role is responsible for working with both business teams and selected vendors to actively manage and coordinate projects tied to secondary market research activities. This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations within the United States.* Responsibilities: - Gather, collate, and synopsize research on key domestic and international markets - Educate internal teams on secondary market analysis information, data availability and correct use - Interact with and assist other associates in sourcing the correct market analysis information or data to enhance their projects and drive revenue - Support the strategically aligned market data (ie: data repositories) directly to ensure alignment with the marketing function and business needs, including regular update cadence and coordination with internal and external data sources - Conduct cross-functional stakeholder interviews to capture secondary market research needs and if needed facilitate action plan to acquire data assets and analysis to meet those needs - Act on opportunities and insights to innovate existing processes and systems in support of secondary market research resources - Provide direct support to the Financial Forecast process (Market Index, Portfolio Market Models) by facilitating the process, collaborating with Marketing and Finance, and working with outside vendors to procure and obtain market opportunity estimates and applicable procedures for all key regions - Provide visualization of data through dashboards or other appropriate methods. (ie: Tableau, Mural), as needed - Identify and research competitors and product lines to enhance accuracy and relevance in identifying market information - Evaluate, select, and manage external vendor relationships related to data sourcing globally

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics, Business Administration, Business Analytics, OR in a related discipline with transferrable knowledge and experiences - Minimum of 2 years of data analytics and/or secondary market research work experience - Experience selecting and managing external vendors - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint) - Proven project management skills - Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation capabilities - Strong attention to detail, business acumen, good organizational and time management skills, and people skills— wrapped in a solutions-oriented mind set with an interest in delivering results - Strong analytical capabilities and willingness and ability to quickly learn new tools and software - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; ability to take on multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines - Ability to travel up to 15% Desired Qualifications: - MBA a plus - Secondary market research work experience directly related to the implantable medical device arena - Demonstrated experience with business intelligence software (ex. Tableau, Power BI) *Remote Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates in the continental United States (US) and Canada, with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore’s remote working policies, from the country in which they are employed. Locations not eligible for new remote work arrangements include: Alaska and Hawaii (for all roles), and Rhode Island (for wage/hourly roles only).
