Overview:
To provide the fastest and most pleasant customer service by performing the duties related to the front end.
Responsibilities:
- Actively communicates with every customer including greeting, thanking, offering a choice of bag type, and performing any other courtesy guideline.
- Properly bags customers’ orders to ensure purchases are not damaged.
- Works well with all co-workers and supervisors.
- Places customer’s purchases in grocery cart or hands bags to the customer and sincerely offers assistance to the customer’s vehicle.
- Performs price checks.
- Relay customer problems to supervisor.
- Retrieves carts from parking lot.
- Cleans front end, break room, rest rooms, lobby, parking lot, etc.
- Cleans garbage and debris from carts and baskets.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
- Friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to retrieve and push in shopping carts.
- Ability to bend and lift to load customer orders into cars.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
