The Quality Manager provides, directs, and manages quality planning activities and processes. The role is a customer-facing function and assures customer requirements are reflected in site processes and are satisfied.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the quality function through coaching, development, and evaluation.
Lead advanced quality planning activities & processes.
Act as an escalation point for quality concerns & customer-focused engagement
Apply statistical methods/analysis to improve processes, products, and measurement systems capabilities, driving variation reduction.
Facilitate quality system-related training & quality guidance to site resources.
Oversee and conduct internal audits (process, product, QMS & LPA) to monitor performance to customer, industry, QMS, and product standards.
Drive achievement of quality-related KPIs to "exceed our customer's ever-evolving expectations through Quality Excellence, Innovation and Continuous Improvement."
Manage the effectiveness of the Quality Management System.
Perform risk assessments of processes & determine appropriate mitigation & proactive corrective measures
Drive deep dive RCA & effective long term corrective action
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree required preferred areas of study Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, or other technical disciplines.
5 years of related direct quality management experience. Laminate or PCB fabrication industry experience is a plus.
Experience in 6 sigma methods, 8D, 5 WHY, fishbone, process capability analysis, MSA, FMEA, Control plan & CI programs
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & collaborate effectively with external & internal customers
Expertise in utilizing Statistical Software (Mini-tab or equivalent). Advanced skill with MS Office especially Excel & PowerPoint
SAP experience is a plus.

Six Sigma Certification
ASQ, CQE, CQM, CQA, CSBB CRE certification
