What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Systems Administrator position at Wabash?
About the Role:
The Wabash marketing systems administrator oversees the marketing technology stack, manages third party partners, and leads the end-to-end execution of integrated campaigns. Equally important, he/she has an interest in industry trends, a broad-business mindset, and relies on cross-functional engagement and alignment to best accomplish their goals. Exercising proven strengths in these areas, this well-rounded individual will ensure marketing’s digital tools are right-sized and support Wabash’s Digital Transformation initiative—our active pursuit to deploy company systems that optimize how we work and expedite customer satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the functionality and customer experience of onewabash.com and other market-facing websites
- Owns the marketing technology stack, including, but not limited to: Website CMS; developer and related third party relationships; plug-ins/services (inventory listing, chat function, call tracking, etc.); marketing platforms and tools such as: Google Analytics, digital asset management, email, surveys, and forms
- Respected liaison between IT and Marketing/digital marketing partners
- Closely collaborates with key stakeholders to strategize, deploy, and communicate metrics on digital marketing campaigns
- Represents Marketing and partners with the Wabash Digital Transformation Office to: 1) Balance and grow a marketing toolkit with the broader business strategy and industry conditions in mind; 2) build a long-term marketing systems roadmap in alignment with our Digital Transformation strategic plan
- Partners with teams (such as Parts & Services) that are responsible for high-growth initiatives that affect or must tie into marketing-owned systems
- Guarantees quality control among third party partners via setting and measuring against standards of excellence, leading annual reviews, and implementing improvement/replacement plans
- Plugs into the Wabash Management System to establish best practices, assign accountability, and expedite project completion
- Formalizes and presents the case for new projects (and/or added resources); leads and is accountable for execution of such projects on time and within budget
- Manages and provides quarterly updates on the Marketing Systems budget
