Construction Assistant/Carpenter/Laborer
Temporary, expected through end of December 2024.
Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm
Potential for Overtime
Dependable, reliable Construction Assistant/Carpenter/Laborer to build tradeshow booths and photo and video sets. Top notch skills and 5 years of experience required with hand tools and power tools to build cabinets, walls, doors, frameworks and floors. All tools will be provided.
Job description:
- Shape and cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
- Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins or glue.
- Install interior trim and finishes including drywall, cabinets, flooring and window/door trim.
- Assist with set-up and break down of sets including moving furniture and accessories.
- Assist with equipment maintenance and organization.
- Perform all job functions in compliance with safety guidelines and company policies/procedures.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, organize and maintain equipment.
- Communicate clearly and work as part of a collaborative team.
- Work a full-time schedule; work overtime as required; including weekends.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds is required.
- Ensure safety through attention to detail and always being alert.
