Duties:
- Provide personal care and assistance to residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with medication management and administer medications as needed.
- Prepare meals and snacks according to individual diets and preferences.
- Engage residents in activities such as exercise, games, and social events to promote mental stimulation and social interaction.
- Support residents with memory care and assist with memory-related tasks.
- Provide direct support to residents with Alzheimer's disease or other dementia-related conditions.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to residents and their families.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing housekeeping duties and reporting any hazards or issues.
- Assist with hospice care and provide end-of-life support to residents and their families.
- Administer first aid and CPR as needed.
- Document resident care and report any concerns or issues to the nursing staff.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in assisted living or home health.
- Experience working with seniors, individuals with dementia, or those requiring hospice care.
- Knowledge of ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) and the ability to assist residents with these tasks.
- Certification in CPR and first aid is preferred, but not required.
Skills:
- Heavy lifting and ability to perform physical tasks with ease.
- Experience with hospice care and a deep understanding of the importance of end-of-life care.
- Ability to work in an assisted living environment and provide direct support to residents with memory care needs.
- Familiarity with nurse protocols and the ability to assist with medication management.
- Certification in CPR and first aid, or willingness to obtain certifications.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.32 - $17.08 per hour
