We are looking for a CREW CHIEF to join our ICE DEPARTMENT to improve infrastructure in our BAY CITY office. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, four or more years of land and/or construction survey experience and a valid driver's license. Excellent technical writing, organization and communication skills are essential. Candidates must be self-motivated and able to work well with others. Typical responsibilities include:

• Conduct various types of surveying including boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, subdivisions, construction stakeouts, etc.
• Interpret maps, plats, construction drawings and specifications
• Oversee the daily operation of a survey crew
• Document work performed and sketches
• Adhere to company standards for processing and storing data
• Perform various survey calculations
• Organize and maintain survey documentation
• Operate and maintain survey equipment
• Communicate project status to Project Managers and clients
• Research project information at the Registrar of Deeds
• Prepare forms and other paperwork in a timely manner
• Attend seminars and/or training classes
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Maintain excellent client relations
• Maintain a safe working environment
