WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR
JOB SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and controlling warehouse inventory by overseeing and coordinating the movement of supplies and products in and out of the warehouse at the direction of the Purchasing Manager.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Must perform all duties and activities in a manner that is aligned with our company values: Integrity, Humility, Innovation, Open to Change, Collaboration, Excellence, and Customer Focus.
· Creates requisitions for warehouse supplies that are low on inventory.
· Receive and verify accuracy of inbound inventory.
· Ensure shipping counts match the order documents.
· Manages daily flow of inventoried items by properly signing out warehouse inventory.
· Ability to identify and correct any warehouse inventory errors.
· Resolve any discrepancies between paperwork and inventory received.
· Track and manage inventory by completing regular cycle counts.
· Identify potential inventory shortages and communicate with relevant departments.
· Stock inbound warehouse inventory into the designated warehouse area.
· Maintain warehouse and assigned areas in a safe and organized manner according to 5S standards.
· Back up the Purchasing Manager in all areas when needed.
· Perform all other duties as assigned.
· Work additional assigned hours.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
· High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related software
· Ability to operate a fork truck in a safe manner.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and in a team.
· Ability to multi-task
· Must be detail oriented and self-motivated.
· SAP experience preferred but not required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· High School Diploma or equivalent required. An associate degree or higher preferred.
· 5S/Lean experience highly preferred.
· Must complete and maintain all respirator training and certifications.
· Must complete and maintain all mobile equipment training and certifications.
· Must complete and maintain any additional assigned company required training and certifications.
· Ability to learn and apply all required training in a safe and efficient manner.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability to lift and carry 75 to 100 lbs. at waist level for short durations.
· Ability to walk up and down stairs many times throughout a shift, and sometimes use a ladder.
· Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend, push, or pull for extended periods of time.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
<5%.
