We are urgently seeking hard-working, self-motivated, and passionate dog lovers to join our professional behind-the-scenes squad!! Our Operations Department has two different positions available:
Housekeeper/Janitorial Position Part Time Housekeeping Team Members
Housekeeping team members play a vital role in the Wag Hotel operation. You must have exceptional work ethic, integrity, honesty and a good solid team player attitude. Attention to detail a must. Team members work together in a fast paced work environment appropriately so that all dog or cat needs are met. This will be an opportunity for you to demonstrate your strengths, love for animals and to expand your career potential.
Duties are Included but not limited to:
- Properly cleans, sanitizes, and sets up guest rooms.
-Maintains cleanliness of guest rooms during guests stay.
- Picks up and properly disposes of dog and cats feces and bodily fluids.
- Properly processes laundry following disease management protocol.
- Properly sanitizes dishes & bowls following disease management protocol.
- Maintains clean and sanitary floors throughout facility.
- Maintains cleanliness of building exterior.
-Maintains cleanliness of employee and client bathrooms.
- Properly sanitizes play area on a daily basis.
-Maintains cleanliness of retail lobby, offices, and employee break room.
- Must possess a good working knowledge of equipment assigned.
- Must operate all equipment and uses chemicals assigned safely and efficiently.
Positions are entry-level, with opportunity for growth! They require comfort with all sizes and breeds of dogs, as well as comfort in managing large playgroups. You will be working very hands on; supervising social groups, providing enrichment, monitoring play styles and interactions, cleaning, record keeping, and completing health checks (checking over body, ears, gums, paws, etc.).
The positions are physically demanding and require you to be on your feet for long periods of time. A successful candidate will be a significant canine lover, pay excellent attention to detail, set and maintain high standards for sanitation and cleanliness, have the exceptional ability to multitask, time manage, and adapt to change.

Required Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age!
-High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends (Please do not apply if you are unable to work on holidays).
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, email, etc)
- Ability to life 50 lbs
- Comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, and personality types
- Experience working or volunteering in either kennel, shelter, rescue or veterinary facility is preferred
