The Opportunity
The client enablement team at Wagestream keeps the client engine turning! We are responsible for onboarding and launching Wagestream’s diverse array of clients, such as Burger King, Floor & Decor, Cardinal Health and Racetrac.
In this hybrid role, you will play an incredibly important part at Wagestream, steering US clients to go live, managing both internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time whilst also ensuring ongoing customer and employee satisfaction. You will leverage your technical expertise and solutions-oriented mindset to optimize client integrations and drive successful project outcomes.
Owning the client relationship from signature through to 45 days post-launch, you will ensure strong project governance and deftly work through any blockers which add risk to the timeline. This is a client-facing technical role requiring a blend of excellent communication skills and technical proficiency.
The Team:
You will be joining our cross-functional squad, responsible for launching and optimizing the Wagestream solution. Day to day, you will work closely with members across the whole squad, in particular Sales, Client Success, and Engineering. Occasional travel to the UK HQ will also be required.
What will you be doing?
- Manage the Client Journey: You will be responsible for ensuring customer brands like Burger King and Floor & Decor get their payroll, T&A, and workforce management systems integrated with Wagestream, and agree on the optimal way to launch and deliver Wagestream with maximum business benefits.
- Build Relationships: Develop positive relationships in every single customer interaction. As a trusted advisor, help shape decisions and timeframes for optimal launch.
- Internal Communication: Drive effective internal communication and cross-functional collaboration within the project team to ensure the best possible outcome for our clients.
- Risk Management: Proactively spot and surface key risks and issues to projects early, build an effective approach to mitigation, and act as the driving force to ensure these are addressed.
- Ownership: Identify blind spots, reduce implementation time, and increase our 1-30 day adoption and engagement metrics.
- Problem-Solving: Optimize and set up new ways of problem-solving, keeping your colleagues up to date on all developments.
- Project Management: Utilize your project management experience to track and build internal processes, adjusting timelines, budgets, and resources as needed to reflect progress and pave the way for success.

- Excited about our mission.
- Proactive and a self-starter with both keen technical and business acumen.
- Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills, allowing you to articulate complex concepts with an accessible approach.
- Strong autonomy and natural problem-solving ability.
- Working knowledge of technical concepts like APIs, SFTP, and Single Sign-On is desirable.
- Experience delivering technical projects in payroll, HCM, HRIS, or WFM is a big plus.
Within 1 month you’ll:
- Get to grips with the Wagestream product.
Understand the wider business and how your role contributes to our success and the mission.
- Support aspects of the enablement process for a client alongside an existing team member.
Within 3 months you’ll:
- Comfortably lead the process of getting a customer from contract signature to launch.
- Work closely with clients to deliver value and help them increase adoption and boost company CSAT.
- Be ready to take on an Enterprise client as the next challenge if not already done so.
- Provide feedback on the process and suggest efficiencies without compromising the client experience.
Within 6 months you’ll:
- Understand the Wagestream mission and confidently talk with clients about our positive impact.
- Actively steer clients toward optimal integration value-for-effort.
- Identify and implement key process improvements.

Working Policy: We operate a hybrid policy with a requirement of 3 days a week in our DC office.
Salary: offering between $100-130k (depending on experience).
