REQUIREMENTS: VOCATIONAL/TECHNICAL.   MUST BE CERTIFIED RESPIRATORY THERAPIST OR REGISTERED RESPIRATORY THERAPIST WITH NATIONAL BOARD OF RESPIRATORY CARE. BLS. NRP-PART-TIME AND FULL-TIME STATUS ONLY, DUE WITHIN SIX MONTHS OF EMPLOYMENT. 1-3 YEARS EXPERIENCE. AT LEAST ONE YEAR CLINICAL EXPERIENCE IN THE CARDIOPULMONARY DEPARTMENT IS PREFERRED.  MUST MAINTAIN CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAMS WITH THE NATIONAL BOARD OF RESPIRATORY CARE AND THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA.

 

JOB SUMMARY: PERFORMS ROUTINE RESPIRATORY THERAPY PROCEDURES ON ADULT AND PEDIATRIC PATIENTS WITH PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT AND COMMITMENT.  MAINTAINS ACCURATE MEDICAL AND DEPARTMENTAL RECORDS.  ABIDES BY ALL RULES, DIRECTIVES, POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.  ASSURES QUALITY CARE AND SAFETY FOR PATIENTS.  ADMINISTERS MEDICATIONS AND PERFORMS LIFE SUSTAINING MEASURES AND SUPPORT. PERFORMS CARDIOPULMONARY DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND ELECTRONEURO DIAGNOSTIC
