JOB DESCRIPTION:

Bronson Crane is seeking to hire and certify an individual as a CCO Tower Crane Operator. The certification program is done in-house by attending a one week training program, followed by a CCO written and practical exam.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate tower crane controls to lift, move and place machinery, equipment and other large objects at construction sites
  • Erect and dismantle tower cranes, following manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols
  • Inspect crane mechanisms and lifting components to ensure safety and compliance
  • Coordinate with personnel to ensure safe maneuvering of loads
  • Calculate load weights and asses weather conditions to determine if lifts can be performed safely

  • Perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting on cranes to ensure continuous operation

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 years related experience and/or training (preferred but not required)
  • Ability to work at heights and in noisy environments
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift 80 pounds
  • Ability to work outdoors in harsh weather conditions
  • Punctual and willing to learn

  • Valid driver’s license (required)

Salary: $24-$27 per hour (wage increase after certification is complete)
