Position Information:
The Imaging Assistant is responsible for assisting the Radiologists and clinical staff in the day-to-day operations relating to the acquisition, storage, routing, and retrieval of clinical images and results. Maintains knowledge of software applications, downtime, imaging routing, storage, and retrieval as well as facilitating communication to providers, clinical staff and other customers. Monitors PACS, EPIC, PowerShare work lists and assists Radiologists and clinical staff as needed. The Imaging Assistant will assist in other ancillary Imaging departments with patient arrival, image storage, image retrieval and image viewing. This position reports to the Imaging Supervisor.
Experience Requirements:
Customer Service Required - And Clinical - Radiology Or Direct Position Experience Preferred
Education Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required - And Associate's Degree Related Field Preferred
