MANDATORY ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS-READ ALL AND FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO COMPLETE DOCUMENTATION:
To be eligible to participate in the Dean Pool selection process, you must have your Educational Leadership degree, have passed exams, and have Educational Leadership on your FL DOE issued certificate
OR
Have completed at least half of your course work towards earning your Educational Leadership degree evidenced by your transcripts AND completed Wakulla Educational Leadership Academy or be in good standing. Other similar leadership academies outside Wakulla County is accepted with appropriate documentation.
In addition to completing the online application, you must provide the following items to Human Resources all at one time by Thursday April 11th by 4:00 pm. Please provide documentation by mail (US Postal or inner office mail) or drop it off in person. It must be received by April 11th by 4:00pm. Do not email any documentation to HR.
1. A copy of your last two years performance evaluations 21/22 and 22/23__-The complete evaluation is required.
2. Two professional reference letters dated within one year. One must be from you principal or immediate supervisor.
3. A copy of your most current FL DOE professional teaching certificate
4. A resume
5. If Educational Leadership is NOT listed on your teaching certificate, you must submit a copy of your college transcripts showing degree completion and the score report from the FELE
OR
6. If you have not completed your Educational Leadership Degree, you must submit a copy of your college transcripts showing that you have completed at least half of the course work required.
7. A one-page, size 11 font, bulleted list of leadership roles of which you are in charge or have been in charge over the past three to five years. Please indicate what year for each role.
The Targeted Selection panel interviews for entry into the 2023-2024 Dean of Students Pool will be Monday, April 22nd. The Dean of Students Pool will re-open annually and all interested candidates must go through the annual process to be considered for Dean openings for the noted SY. The top half of the candidates participating in the Targeted Selection interview will be qualified for open positions until the next Dean of Students Pool is conducted. The Dean of Students Pool is the advertisement for all entry level administrative positions. No entry level administrative position will be advertised after the Dean Pool, and no interview is required after the Dean Pool. A supervisor MAY elect to conduct interviews, but it is not required.
The additional documentation is due April 11th by 4:00. No documentation will be accepted after that time. Please remember to submit ALL documentation at one time.
