The Position:
We're looking for a Lead Drafter responsible for:
- Performing 2D and 3D CAD layouts, drafting, and plan/shop-drawing production for heavy civil construction projects
- Completing initial project layout using owner provided CAD files, plans, and as-built information
- Detailing engineering team's complex concept plans and generating shop drawings with parts lists for component fabrication
- Coordinating preferred drafting and part naming conventions with operations and fabrication facility teams
- Working with all stakeholders to establish and uphold consistently high plan standards.
- Quality control reviews of all plan sets
- Maintaining and updating CAD templates and libraries
- Performing other related duties as required and assigned

The Candidate:
- Post-Secondary degree in drafting, engineering, or related field
- 5 - 10 years of work experience in civil or architectural drafting
- AutoDesk knowledge is required; AutoCAD, Revit, and/or Civil3D are preferred Autodesk Certified Professional a plus
- Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
