The Project Coordinator will assist in planning, developing, coordinating, and managing on-site construction engineering activities for large and medium sized construction projects. This is an entry level construction management position requiring the ability to:

  • Plan, develop, and coordinate on-site construction engineering activities for large, extensive construction projects.
  • Assist Field Superintendents and Project Engineers with project related technical and logistical functions and activities. This includes subcontractor planning and administration, work assignments, etc.
  • Provide technical support for construction efforts, including participation in construction planning and design; interpretation of design; application of construction methods; resolution and documentation of design conflicts.
  • Implement and administer project engineering procedures and other work controlling documents.
  • Interface with all on-site departments as required resolving problems, ensuring quality of construction, etc. in support of overall project schedule.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related program is preferred; or equivalent professional training and experience with high school diploma.
  • Knowledge of industrial construction engineering technology, codes, standards, etc., required. Prior construction site work, skilled trades or experience highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, plus demonstrated ability to participate on a team of varied disciplines.
  • Knowledge Microsoft Office and Primavera scheduling software is a plus.
  • Ability to travel.
