For a limited time MaineHealth is offering a $2000 sign on bonus for
Patient Service Representatives (PSRs):
- Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time PSR position.
Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible. - Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible;
former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
This is a 40 hour per week position.
WCMP Lincolnville Regional Health Center | MaineHealth is searching for a Patient Service Representative. The Patient Service Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients when they enter our Pediatrics office. They greet and check-in patients, get patient information, collect payments, assist with necessary paperwork, and fulfill other customer service or administrative duties. We are looking for candidates with strong communication and administrative skills, a positive attitude, and a proven track record of reliability to support this busy and growing practice and contribute to the team.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- License/Certifications: N/A
- Experience: Six months to one year medical office related experience and/or training preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers. Ability to perform operations using units of American money and weight measurements, volume and distance.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
